Confirmation hymn

 

God calls each one of us to choose:

to daily choose to walk with him.

We ask for grace to live his life,

fed by this pilgrim’s simple fare.

 

This choosing leads us into life:

the pilgrim way that leads to God.

The road is marked at every step:

the saints have gone this way before.

 

Each one of us may know God’s care,

his hand that holds us, all our days.

We place our trust in him alone,

and set out on our way in joy.

 

God holds us all in each graced day;

and walks with us in every step.

Fed with his life, filled with his love,

we never stand outside his care.

 

God calls us all to serve his world:

a costly loving, never done.

We pray for power to serve in love,

to bring Christ’s kingdom here on earth.

 

Trusting and serving, choosing life,

his saints on earth sing out his praise;

each faithful member of his church

stands as a witness to the light.
